hi...
im looking to go to koh tao in dec. and am wanting to do my advanced. i have heard conflicting stories about scuba shack in chalok ban kao, does anybody have any suggestions for me please??

don't no what stories you have heard.
No diving operator,should put you at risk. The students safety,and a risk assesments should be in place,there are inherent risks with any sport, you have to be aware of the risks. If in doubt stay out.
My policy is that if you make a lemon cake ,and there is no lemon in, its not A lemon cake!
The advanced cource is not just being able to dive to 40 mtrs ,its about being competent! at this level.
You can take your advanced before you go and this will enable you to get more experience and enjoy your diving holiday.
